Open an SRT File — View and Edit It Right Here

Fix a typo, nudge a timestamp, or delete a stray cue — without a video editor, without an account, without uploading the file anywhere.

Why edit an SRT file directly?

Sometimes a subtitle file just needs a small fix — a misspelled name, a line that's a half-second early, a duplicate cue left over from an export. Opening a full video editor for that is overkill. This reads the file, lets you adjust exactly what's wrong, and gives you a clean file back — nothing else touches your computer.

Does my SRT file get uploaded anywhere?

No — the file is read and edited entirely inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I edit both the timing and the text?

Yes, each cue's start time, end time, and text are all editable directly in the list.

Can I add or remove cues?

Yes — delete any cue with the ✕ button, or add a new blank one at the end with "Add cue".
